Giving
Christian Stewardship at MDPC
We believe Christian stewardship is a personal covenant between the individual and God. In this covenant, we acknowledge that:
- God owns everything, and all we have is a gift from Him to use for His glory.
- God calls us to return a portion of our time, talents, and treasure to do His work in the world.
- God asks each of us to bring Him the full tithe (Malachi 3:10).
At MDPC, we encourage one another to embrace percentage giving as we work toward the goal of tithing, and beyond. Christian stewardship is more than just returning a portion of our gifts to God. It is about faith and trust in God. God wants us to commit our whole lives to His son, Jesus Christ. When we make this commitment to Christ, our lives are transformed, and our faith deepens.
Online Giving
To make the process of giving easy and convenient, MDPC is currently offering an online giving option. The link below will take you to our Online Giving page, where you may make a one-time gift, or schedule automatically recurring gifts at your preferred giving frequency (weekly, monthly, etc.). You may use a credit or debit card, or choose the eCheck option to directly withdraw from your checking account.
Stock Gifts
MDPC is also able to accept gifts of stock and other marketable securities. The tax benefits of making a gift of stock should be discussed with your personal financial advisor. To inquire about the process of making such a gift please contact Mary Blondell at mblondell@mdpc.org.
