Welcome to Children’s Ministries!

Our team wants to share our love for God, faith, and service with you and your children by providing a safe and fun environment in which to nurture them. While they are with us, they’ll enjoy Bible lessons, crafts, creative activities, worship, prayer, dancing and singing, and they’ll grow in their relationship with Christ!

We find it our greatest joy to introduce children to worship, mission, and service opportunities, and walk with them as they develop a love for Christ, a knowledge of who they are as a beloved child of God, and an understanding of where they fit into the body of Christ.

Our Nursery is staffed by trained, loving caregivers. The kids in Preschool have crafts, Bible stories, games and music at 9:45 AM. Preschoolers go with their class to a special Preschool Worship at 11:15 AM.

We have an amazing Children’s Ministries team, and each one desires to partner with you in your child’s faith development. Their faith – along with yours – will flourish in this amazing ministry at MDPC!

Electronic Check-in on Sundays

The safety and security of our children is our top priority; therefore, all children birth through fifth grade are checked in electronically, which will generate two name tags, one for the child, and one for the parent. This name tag must be presented by the parent when picking up their child, where it will be matched to the child’s tag. Check-in stations are conveniently located in the Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary areas.

After check-in, elementary age children meet on the second floor of the main building. Children in first through fifth head straight into The Zone for games and fellowship; Kindergarten goes directly to Room 209. The kids are brought into The Galaxy for large group worship, and are then dismissed to their small group rooms, where they may be picked up. We encourage families to worship together at one of the services (9:45 or 11:15 AM), and attend Sunday School at the alternate hour.
