The MDPC Legacy Gift Funds

We are all indebted to the past, and to those who preceded us. But we are also seeds of the future for those who succeed us. We dream, we envision, and we set things in motion. The fruit of those decisions will be known only to others whom we will not meet and will not know. We are called to partner in faith with those who have gone before us and to offer the best that we have to give to those who will follow.

You can enhance the ministries and missions of MDPC by making financial resources available for special projects and initiatives over and above the annual budget and to insure the future of MDPC. Listed below are a few ways that those gifts may be facilitated:

The Funds

Gifts can be made to one of the four funds listed below. Your gift can provide income support in perpetuity, or it can be designated for a specific use.

general Fund:

Unrestricted gifts for programs, missions, outreach and capital needs.

Designated Gifts Fund:

Gifts directed by the donor to a specific category of needs. Four subfunds will be maintained for programs, missions, outreach, and capital.

Designated Ministry Gifts Fund:

Gifts directed by the donor to a specific MDPC ministry. Separate sub-funds will be maintained for Caring, Children, Equipping, Fuente, Men, General, Next Generation, Women, Worship & Music, Yellow School, and Youth Ministries.

special gifts funds:

Gifts of $250,000 or more directed by the donor to be used for a specific purpose and for a specific time period provided the purpose is within the scope of the mission and ministries of MDPC.

Gifts in the first three funds noted above will be pooled together with a minimum of 10% of the beginning balance of each fund to be spent annually. Special gift funds will be spent as directed by the donor.
