MDPC has a vibrant ministry of fun, fellowship, spiritual development, and educational opportunities for all of our seniors. Whether you’re a retiree, single, married, still working, a member of MDPC or not, we welcome you to journey with us.
Prime Timers is a group of men and women, age 55 years or better, who meet monthly for fellowship, an outstanding guest speaker or musical artist, and a delicious lunch. Each summer, we sponsor the showing of popular films for the whole congregation—admission, popcorn, and lemonade are all free of charge.
WHEN AND WHERE? Monthly Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 AM in the MDPC Parlor.
HOW MUCH? Each month’s program is free and open to all! Lunch is $10 and must be reserved in advance by mailing a check to MDPC, Attn: Prime Timers.
HOW DO I JOIN? Membership fees of only $10 are designed to defray the cost of programs. Paid members will receive a monthly newsletter and preference in trip reservations. You may join at any meeting.
The Venturers at MDPC
Any member or attender of MDPC age 50 or more is welcome to gatherings of The Venturers at MDPC for Christian fellowship, entertainment, and exploration. The Venturers at MDPC is a group of people, either single or married, who meet each month for fellowship, dinner, and an informative and enriching program.
WHEN AND WHERE? Social hour, dinner, and a program are held the first Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Westchase Hilton Hotel (unless otherwise noted in the newsletter).
DINNER RESERVATIONS: A three-course plated dinner with rolls, coffee and iced tea, is served at each meeting. Your check, along with meal selection, is your reservation. The reservation form is included in each monthly newsletter mailed to group members, or available from Carolyn Anglum: or 713-978-6680.
