Kathryn White
Coordinating Music Director & Organist
Kathryn White is the Coordinating Music Director and Organist at MDPC. She began her ministry here in 1998 and organized the design and installation of a new Sanctuary pipe organ. A native Houstonian, Kathryn began accompanying school choirs at the age of eleven. She received a Bachelor of Music degree in organ performance from the University of Texas and a Master of Music degree in music theory from the University of Cincinnati. Kathryn is a published composer and has released four CDs on the MDPC Schantz Organ. Her performances have been played on NPR’s Pipedreams.

Meliza Gómez
Contemporary Music Director (Directora de Música)
Meliza is the Contemporary Music Director at MDPC and has been the Music Director for Fuente Ministries, MDPC’s Hispanic Ministry, since 2008. A native Texan, she comes from a family of pastors and music ministers. She began her ministry at a young age, singing and playing the piano at her mother’s side. Meliza went to the University of North Texas where she received a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance. She is passionate about worship and during the last 5 years, has been working with Fuente Ministries organizing community programs, musical presentations, and teaching music.

Charles Hausmann
Adult Choral Music Director
Charles Hausmann is the Traditional Music Director at MDPC where he directs the Sanctuary Choir at the 11:15 service. Since 2006, he has conducted the Sanctuary Choir in performances of major works from Verdi’s Requiem to Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace with film, and led the choir in performance of Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass in Carnegie Hall. A native of New Jersey, Dr. Hausmann graduated from the Westminster Choir College. He is Director of Graduate Choral Studies at the University of Houston and the Director of the Houston Symphony Chorus.
