Building Your Faith

Sundays, 12:00AM - 12:00AM

Every Sunday, MDPC provides an opportunity to enjoy a Biblical lesson taught by a pastor or someone else with seminary training. No signup, no class roll. Just the chance to hear solid teaching, eat a few donut holes, and to be encouraged in your faith.

Building Your Faith: Exploring Scripture with the Pastors is this opportunity! BYF meets both in-person in the Amphitheater at both 9:45 and 11:15 AM, and on Zoom. Clay Brown, MDPC Equipping Pastor, serves as BYF’s lead teacher. But all MDPC pastors, along with MDPC’s seminary-educated staff, take a turn.

This summer, BYF will study “Nine from the New,” nine stand-alone lessons from the best the New Testament has to offer. These passages are among the most important in the Bible. They share the good news of Jesus! No registration is required - just stop in and join us on any or all Sundays! Click here for weekly topics and leaders.

Fellowship in Discipleship

6:00AM - 8:00PM

The FinD is a fellowship of Christian men who are serious about authenticity, community, humility, and recovery. We challenge each other daily to believe the incredible news that God actually knows us, loves us, and has restored us to Himself. As we follow Jesus Christ together, we find our lives progressively interrupted by righteousness, peace, and joy.

We are not a church. We are simply one extension of the church universal. We are not perfect. Not even close. We are broken individuals, but in our fractured fellowship we find a foretaste of God’s approaching re-creation.

Each group of at least 7 and no more than 10 men is formed through the design and timing of the Holy Spirit. As it stands today, most of the men in each of these small groups live or work near the epicenter of I-10 (Katy Freeway) and Beltway 8 (Sam Houston Tollway) on the west side of Houston, Texas. Groups meet weekly for about an hour to an hour and a half, on a day and time that works for each group that is formed. Meeting locations vary with each group based on the average centralized location.

These are not one-year, study-specific groups. The mindset of each group is that they are forming for life, with a goal attaining the candor and trust that is built over time with transparency, vulnerability, and the cement that is provided by the Holy Spirit. We typically don’t expand existing groups unless the group unanimously decides to grow their group, but we are always in the process of forming the next group.
