This fall, your Adult Discipleship team is introducing some dynamic new content. The curricula will include two studies of Books of the Bible (John and Genesis), and also The Big Story trio: The Bible's Big Story, Theology's Big Story, and the newest addition, Christianity's Big Story. These in-depth Bible studies are designed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Scriptures, focusing on both the big picture and key subjects that shape the Christian faith.
The full panoply offers an overall survey of the Bible, highlighting essential themes and narratives that run through both the Old and New Testaments. The Book of John study will be a deep dive into the Gospel, exploring its theological richness and unique portrayal of Christ. Participants in the Genesis study will look at the foundational first book of the Bible, understanding the creation story, the beginnings of humanity, and the covenant promises that unfold throughout the Bible.
In addition to these core texts, Bible for Life introduces participants to The Big Story Trio—an exploration of three crucial perspectives that frame our understanding of Scripture. This trio approach helps learners grasp the grand narrative of the Bible, understand the key theological concepts that underpin Christianity, and see how these themes influence and shape the life and mission of the church throughout history. Whether new to Bible study or seasoned in the faith, Bible for Life provides valuable insights and a holistic view of God’s Word that will empower and inspire every participant.
