Finding Freedom in Christ Alone
Join us as we work verse-by-verse through the Book of Galatians.
When Paul wrote his letter to the churches in Galatia, there was a lot at stake. Some Jewish Christians had been spreading the belief that, to be part of Jesus' saving work, new believers had to follow the Old Testament law. But no, says Paul, for "if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” And we know that's not the case. Christ died for you and me, to make our justification possible simply by believing in Him. We never could be "righteous enough" through works alone, and we are no longer burdened by having to try. Feel the freedom; it's been purchased at a price.
