Laurien joined the MDPC staff in February 2018. Prior to that, she worked in oil and gas, nonprofit, and other ministry settings. Laurien has a B.A. in Biblical Languages from Houston Baptist University and a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. She also holds a Doctor of Ministry degree with an emphasis in New Testament from Houston Theological Seminary. Laurien is passionate about helping bridge the gap between academic Biblical studies and the local church. She enjoys reading, watching baseball and soccer, and building Lego sets.
