Nothing transforms you like studying the words and deeds of Jesus Christ in Scripture! Starting this fall, hundreds of MDPC members and friends will grow together by exploring the Gospel of Luke. Fifteen new and existing Sunday morning classes, a new small group, and a Wednesday night study will all share this new curriculum. Classes begin August 18, unless otherwise noted. Not involved in a Sunday morning study? Visiting MDPC? Not sure what Bible study is about?

Equipping Pastor Dr. Clay Brown kicks off a new series of Bible studies following the Transformed by Hope: A Study of Luke series. Choose from the 9:45 or 11:15 AM class in the Amphitheater. Each stand-alone study will focus on a passage from Luke’s Gospel. Other MDPC pastors, teaching leaders, and seminarians will teach during the year as well.

*Together in the Word: 9:45 AM Small Group

Together in the Word is an exciting new in-depth group study beginning September 1 (MC 127), and led by Bart and Jane Henson and Bob and Beverly Fluke. Using Luke for Everyone by NT Wright, this class will walk through the Gospel of Luke. Participants are expected to read before each class and come ready to discuss the material. The class will enjoy periodic group fellowship and meals. Contact Bart Henson at 713-252-3168 to register.
