The Word and the Song
The Voices that Inspired Christmas
MDPC Sanctuary Choir, Children's Choir, and Orchestra
Uniting the many voices that have proclaimed the good news—from Isaiah, Mary, the angels, and the shepherds, to the composers and hymn writers—this epic journey through the centuries brings a personal witness to the Nativity. The Christmas story is re-enacted in a dramatic six-act spectacle, powerfully weaving narration, choirs, congregation, and full orchestra with the grand masterworks of the season.
Free admission, and open to the community! A free-will offering will be collected. Free childcare available by advance reservation.
