Dan is convinced that Jesus is the way to full and satisfying life, but he also knows many people are not yet able to see Jesus’ gospel as genuinely good news. He is passionate about helping the church share the good news in simple, conversational, non-confrontational ways. He started at MDPC in May 2011 as the Middle School Discipleship Director. He was ordained and installed at MDPC in 2017 after finishing his Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary. His undergraduate degree is a BA in Christian Educational Ministries from Taylor University in his home state of Indiana.

Dan is originally from Indiana and is grateful to have married Lauren, a native Texan, and to now call Texas home. Dan and Lauren have three children: Madison, William, and Emerson.
