*During Open Play, the courts are unlocked and anyone is welcome to come play on a first come-first served basis, with new arrivals rotating into the games. Open Play is a time when pickleball players can show up at a court to play without setting up a game. Players can join in and come and go as they please. Open play is a great way to meet other players and get to know the pickleball community.
Court Rules
- Events scheduled in the MDPC calendar take precedence over all other activities.
- Skateboards, rollerblades, and bicycles are not permitted on the courts.
- Good sportsmanship must be exhibited at all times.
- Loud music and events that cause a disruption to the neighborhood are not permitted.
- Alcohol, tobacco, and vaping are prohibited on campus.
- Please leave the area in as good condition as you found it (or better!). Place all trash in waste receptacles.
- For your safety and that of others, report unsafe conditions and broken or damaged equipment to the church.
- Please play responsibly and know that all use of the pickleball courts is “at your own risk.” By reserving or using the courts, you agree to release Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church from any liability for injury, accident, or damage.
