Mission Extreme: Service, Faith, and Fun!

This summer, our elementary-age kids are invited to take part in Mission Extreme—a hands-on opportunity to serve others, grow in faith, and experience the joy of being the Church in action.

Throughout the week, children will participate in meaningful service projects both here at MDPC and out in the Houston community. In addition to serving, our days will include lunch together, games, worship music, and a daily devotional that helps kids connect their service to what Jesus teaches us about loving our neighbors.

Last year our young disciples served with Kids’ Meals, The Brookwood Community, Mission of Yahweh, Fuente Food Pantry, and several other ministry partners. Their acts of kindness made a real impact—and helped them discover that God can use even our youngest members to shine His light.

In the MDPC tradition, we believe that service is not just something we do—it’s a response to God’s grace. Mission Extreme helps kids understand this truth in an age-appropriate way. By serving others, they learn compassion, teamwork, gratitude, and the joy that comes from living out their faith.

Registration is based off current grade levels. For questions or more information, please contact Elementary Ministries Director, Mayra Arellano: marellano@mdpc.org
